IT Design and Implementation of the First IEP Depot1 min read

The Intercity Express Programme (IEP) is an initiative of the Department for Transport (DfT) in the United Kingdom, to procure new trains to replace the InterCity 125 fleet on the East Coast Main Line and Great Western Main Line. They will also be replacing other trainsets on long distance services from London to places including Cambridge, Oxford, Hull and Weston-super-Mare.

We are proud to announce that we have recently completed the IT design and implementation of the first IEP Depot. The site is based near White City, London and is 2km in length. Our work consisted of implementing everything from the WiFi technology both internally and externally, to the computer room racks and the audio visual equipment.

Lanmark’s PTS and CSCS trained engineers worked tirelessly to complete the work and are pleased to have delivered the project on time and within budget. We are now starting the same work for the completion of the West Coast Depots which we are confident will be delivered with the same high standard already set. Steve Winchcombe and Mark Brown have also recently begun the design phase for the East Coast Depots starting later this year.
